What is S3 versioning?
S3 Versioning is an Amazon S3 feature that allows you to keep multiple historical variations of an object in the same bucket. Once enabled, it protects your data from accidental user errors, application bugs, and malicious overwrites or deletions by automatically preserving a complete record of your files over time.
