You will be charged for both EC2 servers running for 400 hours and 500 hours respectively. AWS EC2 instances are billed based on usage time either by the hour or, more commonly now, by the second with a minimum charge of 60 seconds. So if you run one EC2 instance for 400 hours and another for 500 hours, you will be charged for those exact hours of usage at the instance's hourly rate (or second rate if applicable, but effectively it will round up to the actual usage time if over a minute).
