To troubleshoot a lack of internet access in a custom VPC, check that your subnet's route table contains a 0.0.0.0/0 route pointing to an Internet or NAT Gateway, verify the instance has a Public IP, ensure the Security Group outbound rules permit the traffic, and confirm the Network ACL allows both inbound and outbound data flow.
