Why is VPC Peering not a preferred solution for connecting more than 10 VPCs?

Vpc peering is not a preferred solution for connecting more than 10 vpcs because it relies on point to point mesh architecture. As the number of vpcs grows, connections and management overhead multiplies exponentially, creating operational, routing and scaling bottlenecks.
