Which port is used for NFS traffic?

TCP port 2049 is the standard port used for NFS (Network File System) traffic.
This applies to standard NFS setups as well as AWS services like Amazon EFS, which relies on the NFSv4 protocol. When configuring firewalls or security groups, you must allow inbound and outbound traffic over TCP port 2049 to enable communication between your client (like an EC2 instance) and the file system.
