When a sudden influx of users accesses a server simultaneously, will the system automatically redirect traffic to another server (or scale out), or will the server simply crash due to resource exhaustion?
Whether a system automatically redirects traffic or simply crashes depends entirely on how its infrastructure is set up. In physical infrastructure will crash due to resource exhaustion but in cloud infrastructure the traffic will be redirected. Cloud infrastructure has easy scalability.
