In Azure, the Shared Disk feature allows multiple virtual machines (VMs) to attach to the same disk at the same time (useful for clustering, failover scenarios, SQL FCI, SAP ASCS, etc.). But not all disk types support Shared Disks. ✅ Disk Types that can be used as Shared Disks in Azure 1. Premium SSDs (SSD-based, high performance) 2.
