2. Tendency is running the our AWS account in the shared hard ware or physically isolated hard ware. in default it will be in shared hardware.

two types of tendency 1. shared tendency 2. dedicated tendency.

in shared tendency cost is low but in dedicated tendency the cost is comparatively high.

3. offering class refers to the type of reserved instance you purchase. it defines the discount level, flexibility and exchange rules. . i. convertible ii. standard.

in convertible we can change the computing of the reserved instance even after the purchase. it is flexible

in standard we cant change the computing or configuration of the reserved instance after the purchase. so we get more discount cost wise.

4. launching the Ec2 instance with no commitment with AWS. using the instance according to the work load or need or demand. full control over the lifecycle of the instance. we can stop run or start at any time. this instance can be used for running a short period of time. its very cost efficient.

5. three types of payment options available.

i no up front- no need to pay when you purchase the reserved instance. paying on monthly basis. least discount will be provided.

ii partial up front- paying a lower initial cost while purchase the reserved instance and then paying the rest on monthly basis. 50% costing need to pay

iii all up front- we pay the entire cost while purchasing the reserved instance. they will provide for us with highest discount.
