What is C:\inetpub\wwwroot?
C:\interpub\wwwroot the default folder where the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) web server stores its public website files.
When someone types your server’s IP address into a browser, IIS automatically looks inside this specific directory to find and display the website's homepage (usually named index.htm or iisstart.htm).
To launch your own custom website, you simply paste your HTML, CSS, and application files directly into this folder, replacing the default blue IIS welcome page.
