AWS Global Infrastructure is Amazon web services worldwide network of data centers, networking and related facilities. Regions- it is physical location around the globe where amazon have data centers. A Region is a separate Geographic area(eg: ap-south1 for Mumbai), eu-west2 for london) Edge Locations are smaller sites (not full region or AZs) spread across hundreds of cities worldwide. Data Centers: is a physical building blocks. Each Availability Zones contains one or more data centers.(Amazon not publicly disclosed how many per AZ due to security reasons.)
