What happens to "Delete Markers" when an object is deleted in a source bucket configured with Cross-Region Replication (CRR)?

CORS has no effect on delete markers — when you delete an object in a versioned S3 bucket, S3 creates a delete marker, and whether that marker replicates depends entirely on your replication configuration (V1 vs V2), not on CORS.
