What happens if the volume tag doesn't match the DLM policy tag?

DLM will not create snapshot for that volume. Which EBS volume is should manage. If our DLM policy is configured to target volumes with a specific tag and our volume is missing that tag or has different value, DLM skips is completely.

A mismatch between the volume tag and the DLM policy tag results in the volume being excluded from the automated snapshot management defined by the policy.
