Virtualization is the technology that allows you to run multiple operating systems (OSes) or environments on a single physical machine by abstracting the hardware. Cloud Computing is the delivery of computing services (servers, storage, databases, networking, software, etc.) over the internet ("the cloud") No, they're not the same. Its possible to run more than one os without virtualization by dual boot and multi boot setups. Limitations: You can run only one OS at a time. Requires reboot to switch. You can't run different kernels (e.g., Windows + Linux); not true virtualization Usually slower; often used for compatibility, not real multi-OS use
