1. On-Demand Instance : Pay as you go (ideal for unpredictable workloads). 2. Reserved Instance: Discounted pricing for 1/3 years commitment with all upfront, partial upfront, no upfront payment methods. 3. Capacity Reservation: It reserve capacity in a specific AZ without long term commitment (pricing is same compared to on- demand instance). 4.Spot Instance: Unused capacity is purchased at a discount with the risk of interruption(30-90% spot offer is provided by AWS). 5.Shared Instance: These instances are not isolated to a specific server. Multiple AWS instances will run on a hardware in a shared environment.(It is the default tenancy option used by AWS). 6.Dedicated Instance: Isolated instances on physical servers that runs within AWS account(charged similarly to on-demand/reserved instance). 7.Dedicated Host: It's a physical server which is dedicated solely to the customer by providing full control over the resources(costlier).
