Hypertext transfer protocol(HTTP) and Hypertext transfer protocol secure(HTTPS) are the protocols used to transfer data between a web browser and a website. HTTP allows users to access web pages but data can be hacked(not secure). HTTPS is the secure version of HTTP, it uses encryption like SSL/TLS to protect the data. Both are used to view websites but HTTPS keeps the data safe during transfer.
