after exceeding free tier, charges apply based on your usage, with a minimum billing of 1 minute, even if the instance runs for less than a minute.

The charges depend on the purchase options; if you are using the Free Tier or On-Demand pricing, there will be no charges if the instance is terminated immediately after launching.
