If a volume is encrypted, will the snapshot taken will also be encrypted or do we need to encrypt is separately ?

An encrypted EBS volume always produces an encrypted snapshot

Snapshot is a point-in-time backup of EBS Volume or Root volume, It is like taking a backup or copy of the data stored in the volume.
