How does Global Accelerator differ from a traditional load balancer?

Global accelerator sends user traffic through the fast global network to the nearest healthy region. It gives static IPs, so the IPs don't change. It is used for global traffic across many regions. Traditional load balancer works only inside one region & doesn't use the global aws network. It uses DNS names, not static IPs. It is used for regional traffic across ec2 instances.
