In the 'Create Auto Scaling Group' process, after selecting the launch template in Step 1, proceed to Step 2: Under Instance type requirements, click on Override launch templates. Then, choose Manually add instance types and add both the primary instance type and any additional instance types as needed. After completing Step 2, continue through Steps 3 to 7 to finalize the creation of the Auto Scaling Group.
