Explain to me why Amazon thought to create VPC?

Amazon created the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to solve a massive business challenge: enterprise anxiety over security, privacy, and control in the public cloud
Amazon built VPC for three primary reasons:
1. Complete Logical Isolation (Security)
2. Enabling the "Hybrid Cloud" Era
3. Granular Network Authority
