The solution architect should configure cloudfront to serve both static content from S3 & dynamic content from the ALB. Then create an route 53 alternate record pointing the custom domain name to the cloudfront distribution. This setup improves performance & reduces latency by caching static content at edge locations & routing dynamic requests efficiently.
