When the data to be transferred is small & portability is important. It is lightweight,compact & easy to carry, making it suitable for remote environments where space,power or internet connectivity is limited. Snowcone is a cost effective & simpler solution compared to snowball especially when large storage or powerful compute capacity is not required.
